Engineering Manager

Job Description

• Lead a team of engineers building software for hospitals and patients that will make their lives easier. • Make key architectural decisions in various domains (backend, frontend, database, infrastructure). • Provide coaching and feedback to engineers. • Find creative solutions to complex technical and product problems. • Guide engineers through complex technical projects. • Help hire and build out the engineering team as we scale.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience managing a team of software engineers (leading both as people manager and in a technical capacity). • 3 or more years of experience working as a full stack software engineer. • Strong skills in web-based APIs, frontend frameworks, and databases. • Logically think through complex problems and come up with effective solutions. • Exceptional communication skills for interfacing with both technical and non-technical folks. • Demonstrated ability in effectively leading complex technical projects.

Benefits

• Salary range of $180,000 - $210,000. This pay range is provided for candidates based in New York City.
