Job Description

• Responsible for the preparation of Global Atlantic’s Subsidiaries investment disclosures and management reporting for audited financials. • Assist with the review of GAAP 10Q/ K investment disclosures, including reconciliation to the corporate ledger and management reporting • Preparation of quarterly management reporting • Prepare analysis for quarterly closing procedures, including analytical reviews of income statement and balance sheet to support the accuracy of our financial statements. • Coordination of timelines and tracking deliverables for quarterly close process to ensure adherence to quarterly timelines within Investment Accounting • Collaborate with external auditors to resolve audit inquiries and fulfill audit requests on a timely manner. • Perform control functions in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404. • Perform frequent ad hoc analysis and assist with special projects, as requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • 8-10 years of relevant experience. • Knowledge in accounting for fixed income securities and loans • Knowledge of SEC reporting for investments • Insurance company Investment GAAP and Statutory reporting a plus. • Pro-active, detail oriented, deadline driven; possess excellent documentation and analytical skills. • Proven ability to successfully handle close processes, competing priorities and multiple deliverables.

Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. • The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office. • Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. • Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. • Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. • Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. • Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives.
