Senior Data Platform Engineer

Job Description

• Lead the design, deployment and maintenance of data infrastructure • Develop and maintain data pipelines • Establish standards for performance, up-time, and security of data infrastructure • Partner with other teams to identify opportunities and design solutions • Advise on data and software engineering best practices • Monitor and optimize third-party SaaS applications

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a data engineer, platform engineer, site reliability engineer, or other software professional • Strong command of python and SQL • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Pulumi or Terraform • Experience working with streaming platforms like Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, and Spark Streaming • Experience working with container orchestration tools • Curiosity, creativity, and tenacity when it comes to problem-solving
