Senior Data Scientist - Replenishment Optimization

Job Description

• Refactoring Distribution Optimization algorithm using OOP in Python • Working on data science applications to solve business problems in Supply chain and optimization • Analyzing datasets, deriving insights about replenishment optimization and inventory allocation • Developing predictive models and optimization algorithms • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions • Designing and executing experiments to evaluate replenishment strategies • Monitoring KPIs related to replenishment and supply chain allocation • Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in data science and supply chain management • Collaborating, coaching, and learning with a team of experienced Data Scientists

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research or related field • 6+ years of experience as a Data Scientist focusing on replenishment optimization and inventory allocation • Solid understanding of statistical methods, optimization techniques, and predictive modeling concepts • Strong proficiency in Python, Pyspark, and SQL • Ability to apply analytical models to business use cases • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
