Assistant Account Executive, Consumer

Job Description

• Actively participate in brainstorms • Build and maintain media coverage lists and trackers • Collaborate with team members to execute PR campaigns, initiatives, & events • Demonstrate a general knowledge of social media tools • Prepare client status & activity recap reports, compile media & competitor coverage, & coordinate pitching • Research, outline, write, edit, & proofread materials, including media advisories, pitch letters/e-mails, biographies, reports, & fact sheets • Support event planning activities • Write press releases • Conduct various administrative and account maintenance tasks

Qualifications

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination before start date. Candidates may request accommodation due to a disability • Driven to consistently meet deadlines • Possibly wanting to learn a new area of practice within Consumer • Collaborating with team members to execute PR campaigns, initiatives, & events is something that excites you • Excellent verbal communication, strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Excellent writing skills, experience crafting pitches, releases, contributed articles • Must have earned a bachelor's degree • Must have a basic understanding of public relations tools and how they affect the client • Previous agency experience with consumer clients. (preferred)
