Corporate Accountant

Job Description

• General Accounting/Month End Close – Supports monthly accounting period close process to include analytics, posting journal entries, general ledger entries and reconciliation. • Prepares comprehensive account analyses and reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts on a timely basis each month to assure the integrity of the accounting records and the compliance with SOX, including proper documentation on balance sheet reconciliation, maintain evidence of meetings and review notes • Gain global exposure to various international entities supporting transactional and monthly reporting of international subsidiaries. • Assists in the preparation of various reports and analyses for reporting to management. • Assists in preparing quarterly support schedules for SEC filings and auditor requests. • Coordinates and performs special projects, as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, master’s degree or CPA is a plus • 1-3 years of experience, though a winning attitude and desire to learn and grow is most important in this type of role • Ability to prioritize, coordinate and handle multiple projects to meet deadlines • Self-motivated, ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment • Exceptional organizational, problem solving, anticipatory and follow up skills. • Proficient user of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and Word, and PowerPoint, tools from Microsoft Office.
