Director, Product Design

Job Description

• Lead Product Design across the Marketplace pillar, which consists of multiple cross-functional product pods. Directly manage the designers across Marketplace and operate as a lead for the pillar. • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to envision, strategize, and guide the product direction. • Initiate and lead design visioning work at the team and company level. Empower design to create a northstar that guides product and experience decisions. • Empower designers to consistently deliver high-quality design solutions that positively impact our users and the business • Cultivate a positive team culture of openness, curiosity, and bias for action

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in design leadership • Experience leading high-performing product design teams in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication skills; comfortable engaging with stakeholders, including executive teams • Ability to influence and lead change across the organization • Track record of effectively driving large-scale visioning work
