Chief Sales Officer
Job Location: San Francisco, California
Job Description
• Own is the leading data platform trusted by thousands of organizations to protect and activate SaaS data to transform their businesses • Empowers customers to ensure availability, security, and compliance of mission-critical data • Shaping and executing a comprehensive sales strategy on a global scale • Spearheading growth initiatives into new geographic areas and overseeing global specialty sales into ecosystems like ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics, etc • Providing market feedback to inform product development and enhancements • Establishing and exceeding revenue targets for commercial, strategic, and specialty sales • Creating and managing sales forecasts, budgets, and resource allocation for diverse market segments • Developing and implementing pricing strategies and sales tactics to maximize profitability on a global scale
Qualifications
• Proven track record of at least 10 years in B2B technology and SaaS solutions sales, with at least 10-12 years in a leadership role • Strong understanding of B2B technology SaaS solutions in global markets • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate sales teams • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills • Strategic thinker with the ability to formulate and execute sales plans • Results-driven, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus
