Full Stack Software Development Engineer 2

Job Description

• Responsible for working with multiple stakeholders, including Trade desks, Quants, Product managers, Risk, and Compliance • Responsible for the technical design and delivery of new React/Typescript frontend, Java backend projects • Ensure that solutions are meeting DriveWealth best practices in design and architecture • Collaborate with other team leaders in design and integration • Work with the Broker Dealer Operations and Compliance teams to support and enhance the trading system • Set goals with your team and collaborate in setting organizational goals • Partner with business and technical leadership to imagine, develop, test, and launch web applications • Be willing to investigate and explore business needs

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with Typescript and a solid understanding of modern JavaScript features found in ES8+ • Experience with React, TypeScript, WebSockets, RxJs, and/or other related technologies • Strong understanding of unit testing React applications with React Testing Library or a similar tool • Familiar with end to end testing using tools such as Playwright or Cypress • Experience in agile software development and production deployment • Detail and results oriented with excellent problem solving abilities • Passion for developing scalable, well-designed software • Ability to leverage experience to collaborate on UI design solutions • Ability to collaborate horizontally and cross-functionally throughout DriveWealth • Experience with a 24x7, highly-available architecture • Strong technical writing skills • Strong verbal communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
