Marketing Specialist
Job Location: Manhattan, New York
Job Description
• Support Director of Marketing with implementing innovative marketing strategies to build brand love, win new customers, harness long-term loyalty, and drive revenue • Partner with internal and external teams on the development, management, and optimization of all marketing and growth strategies across channels such as influencer, direct mail, OOH & more • Refine and execute repeatable, trackable processes for new studio and product launches and campaigns • Be a key voice in the ongoing development of Rowan’s brand POV, translating it into mission-driven work that drives brand love and advocacy and drives press and social virality • Track and share KPI’s and compare to company set goals. Produce regular recaps and campaign reports on all marketing campaigns and initiate corrective actions where necessary • Assist with event planning, building ROS and tracking budgets • Identify relevant brand partnerships that drive buzz, capture new customers, and delight current ones • Assist with influencer marketing, sourcing lists, conducting outreach, scheduling appointments, and executing mailers • Be a steward of the brand internally and externally, ensuring all channels and departments are working toward the same brand vision and Rowan’s personality comes to life in everything we do • Leverage customer data and trends to drive iterative strategy as the brand grows • Collect & report market information related to consumer insights and competitors • Monitor and track budgets and financials related to marketing campaigns and overall business health • Travel to local studios at least 1x per month (excluding Larchmont) • Travel to studios outside NY DMA at least 1x per month • Develop and maintain customer acquisition strategies to drive customers into both new and existing studios; tracking and reporting on each program with clear KPIs.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or additional certifications are a plus. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing roles, preferably within the consumer goods or lifestyle industry. • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including brand positioning, audience segmentation, and campaign management. • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement creative marketing strategies that drive measurable results. • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in analyzing market data and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with external partners. • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and tools, including social media, influencer marketing, and email campaigns. • Willingness to travel to local and out-of-market studios as needed.
