Engineering Manager, Claim Submission

Job Description

• Lead and manage a growing group of high-performing product engineers at Alma • Define Alma's features, services, and architecture • Grow and develop an incredible team of engineers • Set direction for the team and engage in long-term planning • Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders • Lead end-to-end recruiting process • Engage with Product and Engineering team to craft technical and product strategy

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of engineering experience, with 1+ years of people management • Previously managed a team of 3 or more engineers • Mentorship experience with individuals of different seniority levels • Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues • Clear and engaging communication style • Track record of shipping user-facing products • Passion for improving mental health care access • Experience in demonstrating DEI best practices in leadership and recruiting
