Copywriter

Job Description

• Own the tone of voice, copywriting, and execution of product copy across the website • Develop concise and enticing product names and descriptions • Collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising teams • Differentiate products through engaging storytelling • Conduct research to develop strategic recommendations • Enrich product descriptions with SEO copywriting • Be a resource for email and social copy • Maintain a strategic relationship with channel partners • Perform other duties as assigned • Plan, implement, direct, and administer all aspects of product copywriting • Provide day-to-day management of product launch operations • Craft the voice of the product across email and social media

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience • 3-5 years prior experience in ecommerce/retail copywriting • Demonstrated experience with website technology and Shopify • Netsuite experience a plus • Fluency in English language • Ability to work in an indoor office/home office environment • Ability to sit for long periods, stand and walk intermittently • Ability to use office equipment • Occasionally lift or pull up to 20 pounds • Proficiency in Windows, Mac, Google products, and standard applications
