Senior General Ledger Accountant

Job Description

• Perform certain monthly closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and reports • Record intercompany transactions and complete reconciliations between different entities within the organization, ensuring accurate elimination of intercompany balances • Maintain fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules, additions, disposals, and impairment assessments • Collaborate with cross-functional business leaders to complete monthly accruals • Prepare and flux monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations • Fully support and help drive initiatives to improve & operationalize processes, innovate, and help resolve cross-functional issues as part of the Finance and Accounting team • Assist in general corporate accounting matters and ad hoc projects or requests • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent in accounting or related field • 4+ years of corporate accounting experience with a combination of Big 4 Public Accounting and Industry, preferably in SAAS or high growth technology company • CPA a plus • Superior written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills • Quick learner, ability to identify issues and resolve problems applying critical thinking to complex accounting issues • Strong experience and knowledge in U.S. GAAP and internal controls • Experience with NetSuite ERP preferred • Strong Excel skills
