Director - User Experience & Design (UI/UX)

Job Description

• Lead and manage team of experienced designers including 1:1s, professional development, performance reviews, etc. • Drive a holistic design process, design system, or design language across teams or products. • Oversee multiple projects and scale design resources, accordingly, ensuring deadlines are met, your org is effective, and team members are set up for success by setting clear and measurable goals. • Partner with product, engineering, and business leaders across products to execute on roadmaps, gather requirements, and structure work for multiple product lines. • Plan and structure work across multiple design/product teams. • Bring a user-centered design perspective to discussions around product vision, roadmap, and requirements with Product-level leadership. • Influence stakeholders across functions to gain support for design strategies.

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelors or Graduate degree • A minimum of ten (10) or more years in Product Design / Experience • Experience leading a team and working with senior management. • Financial Services or Fintech background is preferred
