Security Software Engineer, Privacy (Senior)

Job Description

• Develop technical systems to operationalize privacy controls • Define data minimization, retention, and deletion protocols and build technology to implement them • Build user-friendly interfaces to maximize user control over data • Implement data governance solutions in collaboration with the Data team • Anonymize third-party and user data • Work with Security team on data protection issues

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience building and scaling backend systems for consumer applications • 3+ years experience in privacy or data governance-related Engineering projects • Strong knowledge of Python and/or Golang • Experience with designing and maintaining individual microservices • Extensive experience with database technologies, both relational and NoSQL • Familiarity with major cloud service providers • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
