Senior Software Engineer, Backend

Job Description

• In the position of Senior Backend Engineer, you will collaborate closely with product management, research, design, and engineering teams to conceptualize and execute the development of our core product. Your role as a technology expert involves architectural planning, design, implementation, and the launch of our digital solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java programming using Spring Boot framework • Experience working on our technology stack (Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, Docker, JUnit, Spock, Swagger, Snowflake) and proven track record of releasing enterprise applications into production using this tech stack • Experience working with AWS, AWS CLI and SDK, deploying applications on ECS (Fargate), RDS, working with S3, SQS, Lambda etc • Proficiency in agile and lean development practices, test automation, and microservices architecture • Skilled in troubleshooting production issues, analyzing application logs (using tools like Datadog, CloudWatch), and identifying patterns to prevent bugs and issues
