Director of Accounting

Job Description

• Ruggable is looking for a Director of Accounting to help us leverage systems, drive operational efficiency, and provide support over international expansion • The Director of Accounting will be tasked with monthly financial reporting and ensure a smooth financial close process • This person will report to the Controller and will work as a conduit between the finance organization and other teams including global operations, supply chain, legal and tax

Qualifications

• Great communication skills, both written and oral • CPA License (inactive OK) • Advanced Excel user, comfortable working with large datasets • Experience using NetSuite or other large ERP • 10+ years of experience in accounting with public and private background • Minimum of 3-5 years of audit experience at nationally recognized firm • Strong technical working of GAAP and ability to research complex topics • 4-year degree in accounting or finance • Great attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects • Experience working at a Start-up or pre-IPO company • Experience working with foreign subsidiaries a plus • Prior experience with D2C businesses in the consumer products space • Knowledge over ASC 606 and ASC 718

Benefits

• $165,000 - $180,000 per year base salary • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
