Engineer, DevOps (Palo Alto, CA - Hybrid)

Job Description

• The DevOps/Infrastructure engineer will be directly responsible for supporting all developer and IT operations on premises and in the cloud. • This person will work closely with various parts of the organization to build and improve software releases, customer acquisitions and new product and feature introductions. • This person will also ensure platforms are efficiently built, measured and managed to align with the business expectations and that all compliance requirements are met including, but not limited to: HIPAA, SOC2, HITRUST and federal and state security and compliance regulations. An understanding of change management processes is key. • To be successful, the candidate should be customer focused (internal) and comfortable working as a partner in all aspects of development and production to increase productivity, create scalability, and is technically adept in a fast-paced start-up environment. • This position reports to the Senior Manager, DevOps and will be a key member of the IT & Security Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree • 5+ Years of relevant experience within the Software Industry space • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Development role • 3+ years of experience with the AWS ecosystem (e.g. ECS, EKS, S3, EC2, IAM, etc...) • Proficiency with a variety of programming, scripting, and configuration languages including Python and Bash • Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools, such as Terraform • Containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes • Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines
