Job Description

• Create documentation, guidelines, and instructions for the technical program or software. • Understand the audience intended for the material and the requirements of the project. • Collaborate with team members such as software or hardware engineers. • Work with graphic designers to create illustrations, graphs, visual aids or charts to assist the user. • Receive feedback on documents and make changes as needed or suggested by other users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in writing/editing and/or five year's experience in writing/editing or complex administrative type tasks. • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. • Ability to write, edit, proofread and copyedit a variety of documents, press releases, human interest features, magazines, social media content, science articles and other journalistic articles. • Must be able to pass applicable background investigation.
