Data Scientist/Senior Data Scientist, Proteomics
Job Location: San Francisco, California
Salary: $120,000 - $172,000 a year
Job Description
• Seeking data scientist or computational biologist to work with mass spectrometry proteomics data • Develop data analysis strategies and algorithms • Collaborate with Proteomics group and Computing team to extract biological insights • Interact closely with scientists to understand data analysis needs
Qualifications
• Masters degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline • Expertise in statistical data analysis • Experience with proteomics data and software • Fluent coding skills in R and/or python • Outstanding communication and collaborative work ethic • Intellectual curiosity and attention to detail • Must be willing to work onsite at least three days a week
Benefits
• Estimated base salary range of $120,000 - $172,000 • Eligible for two annual cash bonuses
