Software Engineer II, Verifications Platform

Job Description

• Build Verifications Platform through distributed services • Minimize fraud losses to Upstart through better data and ML models • Automate approvals for borrowers • Improve UI experience for operations teams and applicants • Assist in building models that predict excess credit risk

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing full stack web applications professionally • Proficiency with either Kotlin, Ruby on Rails, or Python and at least one other programming language • Proficiency with React • Solid grasp of software development principles and best practices for creating scalable and maintainable systems • Proven ability to effectively analyze and solve complex problems
