Carrier Relations Manager, Brokerage Experience

Job Description

• As Kin continues to grow a new and exciting Agency division, we are looking for an experienced and strategic-thinking personal lines Carrier Relations Manager to be a key player in our Agency. • The focus will be to build upon the strong Carrier relationships we have, as well as adding new partners to fuel our growth. • Carrier Relations is critical to our success, as we rely on our appointments to serve our customers. • Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll spearhead all Carrier-related projects, day-to-day management of the relationships and partner with Sales to ensure we are meeting each Carrier’s preferences and compliance needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive, personal lines experience in carrier relationship management • Active P&C Insurance License in resident state or required to obtain this in the first 30 days of employment • Proven track record of successfully cultivating and managing Carrier relationships • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, including contract management experience • Excels collaborating cross-functionally with senior internal stakeholders • Ability to understand and take action based on data trends • Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities • Must possess a high aptitude for problem solving, be able to assess problems, research alternatives and pursue acceptable solutions while remaining within company guidelines • Proficient use of Google Suite is essential (i.e. Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
