Senior Accountant

Job Description

• Applying accounting principles to process and prepare reports and filings • Managing general ledger accounting with a focus on order to cash and inventory • Overseeing order to cash accounting cycle • Handling sales returns and related balance sheet accounts • Leading inventory accounting activities • Collaborating with operations teams and auditors • Importing transaction data into NetSuite • Reviewing coding of transactions for accuracy • Performing month-end activities such as payroll accounting, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations • Assisting in year-end audit process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting • 5-7 years of GL accounting experience • Strong knowledge of NetSuite required • Experience with Shopify and Manhattan WMS a plus • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs etc.) • Excellent communication skills • eCommerce/retail experience is a strong plus
