Senior Product Manager, Simulation and Evaluation

Job Description

• Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company with the mission to be the most trusted driver. • Waymo focuses on building the Waymo Driver to improve access to mobility while saving lives lost to traffic crashes. • The Waymo Driver powers Waymo One, a fully autonomous ride-hailing service, and can be applied to different vehicle platforms and product use cases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience • Experience in analytical roles or machine learning roles, working with data scientists • Experience innovating over large time horizons in a highly uncertain, deeply technical environment • Ability to think about long-term product vision, and then decompose that into concrete, actionable plans with cross-org alignment • Master's degree in a technical or engineering field or MBA, or equivalent practical experience • Experience working on a product where safety was a top priority and interfaced with System Engineering, Safety Researchers, or government entities • Experience working in data infrastructure and/or cloud computing • Experience working with autonomous vehicles or robotics • Experience with vehicle rules of the road • Experience working with regulatory agencies (DMV, CPUC, NHTSA)
