Staff Engineer - Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM)

Job Description

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of the applications involving the customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) systems and solutions • Collaborate with engineers across the entire organization to leverage the authorization and authentication strategy and implementation • Own features from start to finish, facilitating review and discussion with peers and partners, ensuring features as implemented meet product requirements • Partner with engineering leaders to build out and execute on project design, engineering, and security standards • Clearly communicate upward and outward to set and adjust expectations with your manager and partners • Participate in the on-call rotation

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing complex applications in Go and/or Ruby • Front end development experience with React and TypeScript • Strong understanding of service-oriented architectures, microservices, and design patterns • Familiarity with authentication standards and technologies such as JWT and OIDC • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to produce quality documentation • A great teammate: communicative, collaborative, empathetic • Experience working with teams distributed across different time zones • Experience in Service-to-service communication
