Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Hotels Flexibility (100% Remote US or CAN)
Job Location: Remote
Job Description
• Your focus will be on solving data and engineering challenges to assist customers in dealing with common travel issues • Enhance existing machine learning pricing models and develop new frameworks to improve product pricing • Responsible for the entire development, deployment, and performance tracking of models across multiple platforms • Initiating, developing, and maintaining data pipelines that power decision-making • Ensuring correct pricing based on changing demand environments and external conditions • Identifying mispriced segments and deploying scalable solutions • Thinking beyond “just the model” by challenging existing product construction and UX
Qualifications
• A proven track record of solving complex problems with in depth understanding of data, product, and business impact • High attention to detail and ability to create scalable data solutions • Strong creative problem-solving skills and critical thinking competencies • Ability to effectively communicate pricing decisions and performance to executive-level stakeholders • Designed, implemented, and deployed pricing models into production using modern technologies • Fluency in using SQL for data creation, maintenance, and analysis • High proficiency in Python, ML workflows, and ETL pipeline exposure. • Experience with data visualization to convey ML model behavior and business insights • Worked on a consumer product and has shipped high impact models at scale
