Channel Security Engineer

Job Description

• Support and work with production, engineering, and research and development • Determine how Tenable products and services could be designed or modified to best suit customer needs • Use technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers how and why to use Tenable products • Execute "Proof of Concept" evaluations of Tenable products against customer requirements • Maintain current customer relationship and develop new ones • Potentially help identify and develop new product concepts • Provide status reports including trends in territory, upcoming events, follow-up and adherence to goals • Other related duties as required

Qualifications

• Experience with Nessus or other network scanning technologies • Solid foundational knowledge of TCP/IP and network security concepts • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Server at the command-line level • Knowledge of compliance standards, both domestic and international • Knowledge of specific customer service standards and procedures, both domestic and international • Ability to plan, organize and implement a range of sales programs • Must be detail oriented and capable of accurate work with minimal supervision
