Software Engineer

Job Description

• Create and maintain software enabling internal and external API integrations using Python • Follow best practices in code to build maintainable, low-complexity software • Work with stakeholders including Product and Operations teams • Review requirements and translate into an executable development plan • Provide production support during business hours

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer • Demonstrated experience building REST APIs in Python • Experience with PostgreSQL • Ability to collaborate within a team • Understanding of git • Experience working at a company founded in the past 5-10 years is a plus • Experience writing unit and automated acceptance tests • Familiarity with UI technologies such as React • Experience with AWS cloud services using Terraform • Building pipelines in Jenkins or other CI tools
