Clinical Technical Product Manager
Job Location: Los Angeles, California
Salary: $132,181 - $158,617 a year
Job Description
• Ensuring a deep understanding of user needs, technology trends, and regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry. Own, prioritize, and maintain the Product Backlog, including definition of user stories and acceptance criteria, assess impact of defects including providing key input on decisions • Manage communications to ensure stakeholders are informed of development ROI, investment planning, changes, and execution progress across the program • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, solution architecture, domain SMEs, and healthcare professionals to drive product development, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact solutions. Act as the glue between business partners and technology organization • Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's mission, considering both provider and payer perspectives in the healthcare ecosystem. Must have strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, as well as an understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate those needs into actionable product requirements • Agile Development: Participate in scrum ceremonies to facilitate efficient product development cycles. This includes facilitating solution design and backlog grooming sessions, and participating in daily scrum, sprint planning, and iteration reviews • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong technical understanding to effectively communicate with engineering teams, make informed decisions, and provide guidance on technical feasibility and limitations • User-Centric Design: Champion user-centric design principles, collaborating with design teams to ensure the development of intuitive, user-friendly healthcare products • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing: Work with stakeholders to identify users that will complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT), design a plan with customers, and facilitate the execution of that review and acceptance testing • Performance Analysis: Monitor product performance using relevant metrics and data analysis, identifying opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field; professional experience may be substituted • Minimum of 5 years of product management or equivalent experience within the healthcare industry (provider and/or payer settings) with a demonstrated ability to discover opportunities, and then define and deliver products • Minimum of 3+ years of nursing or clinical experience • Minimum of 3+ years of decomposing business requirements into features and user stories; and writing technical documentation to support solution delivery • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Agile methodologies, leading product teams, managing end-to-end product development processes and product lifecycle management • Proven track record in product management, preferably in technology/software within the healthcare industry • Ability to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products • Demonstrated ability to build trust-based relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders • Track record of reliably managing complex processes to on-time completion • Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented, organized, and able to focus for extended periods of time • Excited to analyze data, work cross-functionally, and build internal tools and infrastructure • Proficient with Microsoft software suite
