Regional Sales Director

Job Description

• Regional Sales Director role focusing on the largest state and local government clients as well as public and private universities • Hunting and closing new businesses with a balance of land and expand opportunities • Collaborating with Business Development Representatives and partners • Forming and leading a virtual team to win new opportunities and manage accounts • Forecasting business objectives accurately • Identifying and building relationships with resellers and partners

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full cycle sales enterprise selling into the SLED market. • Team player • Self-starter and proactive • Ability to deliver compelling "teaching conversations" tailored to each prospect’s situation • Ability to take control of opportunities and propose next actions • Ability to maintain focus on validating deal details • Experience selling to the C-suite and subscription models • Understanding of land and expand process • Experience selling security and cloud software • Networking and Infrastructure background is a plus
