Senior Product Marketing Manager, Innovation
Job Location: Bay Area, California
Salary: $124,000 - $186,000 a year
Job Description
• Develop and execute a strategy for introducing new features and releases to Klaviyo customers, partners, and prospects • Work with the product operations team to build and scale processes to track and measure product feature releases • Operationalize our quarterly release and “always-on” process to drive awareness of new products and features, reinforcing Klaviyo as a market-leading innovator • Manage and scale our ongoing release notes process, working across product, product operations, enablement, and technical writers • Partner strategically with various teams across the business, including but not limited to Product Marketing, Creative, Lifecycle Marketing, Customer Growth, Content and Social, Internal Communications, Customer Success, Customer Education, and Product Management teams • Track and influence awareness and adoption goals for new and emerging products, as well as the effectiveness of our innovation marketing programs • Review and improve website copy, release notes, demo scripts, storyboards, and videos to ensure high-quality and effective marketing content
Qualifications
• 5-7+ years of product marketing experience, with significant experience in cross-functional leadership, program management, and/or product launches • 5+ years working in a software company; SaaS marketing experience is highly desirable • Sharp product marketing management, communication, and writing skills—able to bring clarity and action to keep work moving forward with many stakeholders • Technically proficient, with a strong ability to understand product features and to communicate technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively, while identifying and implementing process improvements • Strong knowledge of marketing best practices and tools, including familiarity with B2C marketing software, buying cycles, and users • Proven ability to lead and execute major cross-functional initiatives, often under the visibility of executive leadership • Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile, and high-performance environment with the ability to navigate gray areas by developing new processes and streamlining workflows • Excellent organizational, time management, and collaborative skills with the ability to represent the product marketing team and best practices across multiple teams with confidence and expertise, interacting effectively with senior executives and individual contributors alike
