Software Engineer - Data Engineering

Job Description

• Create tools to help engineers evaluate performance of components • Develop and implement visualization tools and dashboards for performance data access • Iterate and support data collection and uploads from drones • Collaborate with software and hardware teams on performance metrics • Identify areas for product performance improvement and suggest enhancements • Drive safety and reliability efforts using data and analytics

Qualifications

• Demonstrated practical experience working with robotics systems • Background in data science and analytics, especially in a robotics context • Knowledge of databases and data processing • Strategic thinking in applying data and metrics to guide software development • Proficiency in C++ and Python • Ability to coordinate across different teams and maintain good relationships • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a relevant field

Benefits

• Annual base salary range of $145,000 - $215,000. • Eligibility for benefit plans and various incentives and stipends.
