SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager

Job Description

• Prepare the quarterly and annual financial statements and related footnotes (including other information in the S-1A, 10-Q’s, 10-K’s, proxy statements, earnings releases, etc.) • Analyze and assess technical accounting topics impacting the company, including evaluation, documentation and communication of all new accounting standards and existing accounting standards • Month-end accounting duties for complex accounting transactions (stock based compensation, capitalized software, and consolidations) • Preparation of quarterly slide presentations for audit committee and disclosure committee meetings (and close meetings) • Assist with annual audit and quarterly review requests

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in the accounting field • 3+ years of experience in public accounting, preferably with a Big 4 firm • Extremely organized, which allow you to have strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software • CPA license and Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study • NetSuite, Workiva, and Flocast experience is a plus
