Senior Accountant, Digital Assets and Investments

Job Description

• Circle is looking for an exceptional Senior Accountant to support the Digital Assets and Investments team • As a Senior Accountant, you will be the lead representative in digital assets and investments transactional flow accounting needs including reconciliations, journal entries, exception monitoring and analysis, data integrity, reporting disclosures and process automation • Work with international accounting teams for cross-trainings, month-end close, reporting disclosures and audit support related to corporate digital assets • Collaborate on the implementation of digital assets accounting software and ERP system • Assist with relevant SOX, audit, and tax requirements • Perform special accounting analysis and projects, as requested

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business • Minimum of 4+ years of accounting experience • Big 4 experience and CPA preferred • Direct experience performing detailed and data intensive reconciliations • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of current regulations and compliance issues • A passion for process improvement and automation • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, a proactive and self-motivated working style, ability to work collaboratively and multi-task, and creativity • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment • Ability to prioritize workloads and ensure tasks are completed timely • High integrity and ability to handle confidential information • Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite
