Technical Product Manager II, Cloud Network Infrastructure

Job Description

• The New York Times is looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our Delivery Engineering (DV) Mission to improve developer experience for all NYT Developers. • Guide the development of services critical to our AWS and GCP cloud platforms and be responsible for infrastructure improvements. • Develop and communicate a clear product vision, roadmap, and strategy for cloud networking infrastructure solutions. • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and target meaningful solutions. • Gather feedback and platform metrics to inform product direction and prioritization. • Build strong cross-departmental relationships with product stakeholders. • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in edge technologies to inform product roadmap.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant product management experience • 4+ years of technical experience • Proven experience leading a product and delivering meaningful solutions • Experience with cloud networking concepts (e.g., Kubernetes, Ingress, Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), and DNS) • Experience launching and managing cloud-based products. (e.g., AWS, GCP) • Experience with software development processes, tools, and technologies • Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners, with the ability to collaborate with multiple engineering teams • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
