Director of Engineering, Subscriber Experience

Job Description

• Lead a team of 16 engineers and 2 managers in building infrastructure and features • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set technical and operational strategies • Partner with product owners, project managers, designers, and data analysts to prioritize and plan work efforts • Coach and develop engineers and tech leads • Create an inclusive team culture and recruit top engineering talent

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Director of Engineering • 2+ years of experience managing managers • Strategic technical leadership experience and demonstrated understanding of how it connects to business outcomes • Experience working in complex product organizations, supporting stakeholders with diverse and sometimes conflicting technical and product requirements • Experience guiding large-scale consumer product teams, with responsibility for both frontend experience design and API/backend services that serve those designs • Expertise in creating healthy feedback environments
