Head of Songwriter & Publisher Partnerships

Job Description

• Lead the global team to drive growth for Spotify and the publishing industry • Develop & maintain strategy to grow Spotify’s partnerships with songwriters, publishers, and industry bodies • Work cross-functionally with various departments • Provide business strategy, framework, guidance, and insight to Spotify’s songwriter & publishing program • Develop creative services and tools for Spotify • Communicate across stakeholders and troubleshoot key relationships • Educate and advocate Spotify to songwriters, publishers, and the publishing community • Manage key relationships to maintain active dialogue with partners

Qualifications

• Experienced leader with deep understanding of music publishing • Knowledge of digital music and streaming • Ability to work across different cultures and timezones • Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial & ambiguous environment • Strong team organization and project management abilities • Excellent network of contacts in the publishing & songwriting worlds • Fluent in both written and spoken English, fluency in another language is a plus
