Database Developer

Job Description

• Developing ETL pipelines, updating data architecture, and preparation/delivery of database objects for the business • Supporting the business in use of existing architecture and contributing to migration to next-generation data warehouse (Microsoft Fabric) • Interfacing with internal / external business SMEs to create and maintain data objects within SQL Server • Collaborating with team on implementation / maintenance of data architecture • Monitoring server performance and implementing optimizations to ensure availability • Creating and maintaining performant queries, views, and stored procedures • Collecting and manipulating data for ad-hoc analysis • Isolating and resolving data source issues with limited supervision and oversight

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with T-SQL (window functions, CTEs, views / stored procedures, performance tuning) • 3+ years of loading, importing, and exporting data into and from databases • 3+ years of experience with Python / PySpark / Databricks / Snowflake • 2+ years of experience with Git / Azure DevOps • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric (certification desired) • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Benefits

• Compensation range $90-110K
