Senior Information Technology Project Manager

Job Description

• Partner with IT leadership and subject matter experts to gather requirements and incorporate that into an overall plan and implementation approach • Manage IT projects and initiatives • Drive project success by overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery and post-implementation support. • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project milestones and deliverables. • Track and report engineering progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks and communicate status and issues to upper management and project stakeholders. • Proactively remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress. • Develop an end-to-end rollout plan for new products, enhancements, and projects. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives. • Help develop standards for the IT project management office including templates, timelines, and self service material to help accelerate project management.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as an IT Project Manager • Strong understanding of program management methodologies and project management overall. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to deliver program status, roadmaps, business outcomes & impacts, and metrics • Strong interpersonal skills to prioritize multiple, high-reaching priorities simultaneously • Exceptional analytical skills with track record of using objective data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and decisions • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred.
