Sr. Manager, Mobile Engineering

Job Description

• Lead teams that deliver on multiple projects of increasing dependencies in an ambiguous and high-impact area. • Work closely with our product and design teams, as well as business stakeholders, to drive and execute on the next set of product innovations required to maintain and accelerate Matterport's position as an industry leader. • Lead a team of high caliber software engineers with strong mobile expertise - foster an inclusive team culture, empower, challenge and coach team members to help grow their impact. • Enable teams to be successful by removing obstacles and developing strategic relationships throughout the business. • Help set the direction and goals for the team, in terms of project impact, product quality, and engineering efficiency. • Understand and stay current with market trends, emerging technology, and competitors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in mobile development • 3+ years experience leading software engineering teams in a high growth and fast-paced environment • BA/BS in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, 3+ years work experience) • Experience in recruiting engineering talent and building out high-performing teams
