Finance Manager
Job Location: Bay Area, California
Job Description
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management • Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis • Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives • Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements • Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports • Conduct profit and cost analyses • Collaborate with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations • Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership • Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests • Maintain the financial health of the organization • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans
Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience working in corporate finance and accounting • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA/CPA) is a plus • Proven experience as an accountant for financial professional or in a similar role • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting • Proficient in the use of MS Office, Google Workspace and financial management software • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to strategize and solve problems • Strong leadership and organizational skills • Excellent analytical and numerical skills • Sharp time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
