Senior Account Executive - Travel
Job Location: San Francisco, California
Salary: $96,000 - $150,000 a year
Job Description
• Own the Sales Cycle: Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and building relationships with travel businesses to closing deals and exceeding revenue targets. • Drive Customer Acquisition: Proactively identify and acquire potential travel businesses that could benefit from Airwallex's solutions, utilizing both inbound and outbound strategies. • Establish Airwallex as a Leader: Build strong relationships and close deals with key travel businesses, solidifying Airwallex's position as a major player in the travel payments industry. • Uncover New Opportunities: Identify and explore new sub-verticals within the travel industry, uncovering fresh opportunities for Airwallex's growth. • Champion Customer Success: Advocate for a customer-centric approach, ensuring travel businesses leverage Airwallex solutions to optimize their financial operations. • Develop expertise: Become an expert in all aspects of the Airwallex platform, our travel industry customers, and the solutions we offer. • Foster Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams (legal, finance, strategy) to structure winning partnerships for travel businesses. • Build Team Culture: Be a team player and set the standard for excellence within the entire SMB sales function.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience • 5+ years of inside and/or field sales experience closing net new business in a high growth company; experience in travel, fintech and/or international payments a must • A proven track record of new business solution selling into the travel space • A customer-focused, consultative approach to sales • A desire to be in the fintech/payments space • A collaborator who is willing to work with people at all levels and across functions and cultures • Success-oriented and hold yourself accountable for delivering key outcomes including revenue targets • A FIO (Figure It Out) attitude and are willing to do whatever is necessary to achieve results • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
