Job Description

• You'll play a pivotal role in educating e-commerce businesses on how Airwallex's product suite can streamline their global operations. This includes simplifying cross-border payments, managing currency fluctuations, and optimizing international receivables. Your primary focus will be bringing on new SMB travel customers and leverage your skills in pitching, negotiating and driving internal processes to set up our partnerships for success. • Owning the Sales Cycle: Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and building relationships with e-commerce businesses to closing deals and exceeding revenue targets. • Driving Customer Acquisition: Proactively identify and acquire potential e-commerce businesses that could benefit from Airwallex's solutions, utilizing both inbound and outbound strategies. • Establishing Airwallex as a Leader: Build strong relationships and close deals with key e-commerce businesses, solidifying Airwallex's position as a major player in the e-commerce payments industry. • Uncovering New Opportunities: Identify and explore new sub-verticals within the e-commerce industry, uncovering fresh opportunities for Airwallex's growth. • Championing Customer Success: Advocate for a customer-centric approach, ensuring e-commerce businesses leverage Airwallex numerous solutions to optimize their financial operations. • Developing expertise: Become an expert in all aspects of the Airwallex platform, our e-commerce industry customers, and the solutions we offer. • Fostering Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams (legal, finance, strategy) to structure winning partnerships for travel businesses. • Building Team Culture: Be a team player and set the standard for excellence within the entire SMB sales function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience • 5+ years of inside and/or field sales experience closing net new business in a high growth company; experience in e-commerce, fintech and/or international payments a must • A proven track record of new business solution selling into the e-commerce space • A customer-focused, consultative approach to sales • A desire to be in the fintech/payments space • A collaborator who is willing to work with people at all levels and across functions and cultures • Success-oriented and hold yourself accountable for delivering key outcomes including revenue targets • A FIO (Figure It Out) attitude and are willing to do whatever is necessary to achieve results • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
