People Operations Associate
Job Location: Remote
Salary: $82,000 - $97,000 a year
Job Description
• Own data integrity in our HRIS, ensure any employment changes are reflected in our HRIS, and organize and maintain employee records with the utmost confidentiality • Provide tactical support for People/HR programs such as building performance reviews and engagement surveys, and benefits (i.e. compiling calibration sheets, creating compensation memos, pulling and creating automated data reports, etc). • Be the first point of contact for our teammates and address employee questions in our ticketing system with accuracy and timeliness • Support benefits administration • Execute and support audits of People Ops records and platforms (e.g., 401k audits and compliance testing) • Manage all HR (People Ops) mail, which includes filling out unemployment claims, fulfilling employment verifications, etc. • Drive and iterate on our existing new hire and contractor onboarding process, from inputting I-9s, to scheduling onboarding session presenters, to answering new employee’s questions to make the new hire experiences the best it can be. • Support benefits compliance reporting • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications
• Confident with technology and able to pick up new systems quickly. Proficiency in HRIS systems is a plus. • Prior experience in People Ops at a high growth environment (though this is not required). • Have excellent organizational, administrative, and problem solving skills. • Have excellent professional verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate with team members across all levels effectively. • Exceptional attention to detail • Ability to utilize available tools to optimize and streamline workflow and processes. • Perform well under pressure, maintaining composure and adaptability in dynamic and fast-paced environments. • Operate with a high sense of ownership and urgency, taking proactive measures to ensure tasks and projects are completed efficiently • Have working knowledge of G-Suite (for calendar, email, and docs), Slack, and Zoom.
