System Test Engineer

Job Description

• Sonatus is a well-funded, fast-paced, and fast-growing company whose technologies and software help automakers build dynamic software-defined vehicles. • Work as a part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full automotive software development life cycle from conception to deployment. • Use cutting-edge technologies and products to provide industry-leading network, security, and data management systems for digital automobiles. • Review and critique product requirement specification, design and functional specification, define test strategy, develop detailed end to end solution test plan and test cases.

Qualifications

• Must possess a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or foreign equivalent). • 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in design and development of software test systems and tools. • Will, also, accept a masters, or foreign equivalent, in electronic engineering, computer science, or related field, plus 3 years of experience. • Experience must include the following skills that may be gained concurrently: LIN, CAN, CAN FD to Ethernet. • Using different test tools: CANoe or similar products. • Using JIRA, Jenkins or similar tools

• Define testing strategies by working with product, development and other teams across the company. • Develop detailed test plans per the specifications and execute test cases via a combination of automation or manual testing. • Triage integration issues reported by partners and field problems • Escalate potential issues (Software, Hardware, Resources) to Project Manager / Exec team. • Track all necessary testing activities, including schedule, resources, and requirements, defects and resolution so that there is a clear alignment across key stakeholders. • Identify areas of improvements in test coverage, methodology and provide suggestions. • Act as the gatekeeper of each release and be the voice for customers and provide constructive feedback.
