Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

• The Senior Software Engineer will work on our CoreTrade and DriveWealth Institutional teams. You'll build an ultra-low latency, high throughput trading system and the tools to run and democratize investing globally! You'll work with cutting-edge technologies to re-engineer our mission-critical trading stack to be industrial-grade. We aim to utilize our fintech prowess and our exchange memberships to deliver internet-scale trading applications to the floor of the exchanges.

Qualifications

• Experience with low latency, high throughput distributed systems • Experience with multithreading and concurrency in Java • Java fundamentals, data structures, and best practices for modern software development • Knowledge of techniques fundamental to zero garbage collection software • Must understand how to write effective unit and integration tests with Gherkin syntax • Experience with a 24x7, highly-available architecture • Experience with application containerization tools such as Docker or Podman • Strong technical writing skills • Strong verbal communication, including clearly explaining technical concepts and designs to a diverse audience • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
