• Lead a team of iOS engineers • Ensure the deliverance of a stable and engaging app experience • Collaborate with Mobile Platforms team • Prioritize and deliver features impacting subscriber growth goals • Manage career development for engineers • Create an inclusive and supportive culture within the team • Support and understand the core mission and values of The New York Times

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience managing a mobile engineering team • 4+ years of experience building performant iOS or Android apps • Demonstrated understanding of iOS best practices • Experience working in complex product organizations • Experience with large legacy codebases • Experience promoting a culture of performance monitoring • Experience working as the steward of a codebase with contributors from multiple engineering teams
