Senior Product Data Scientist, Fleet Deployment and Readiness

Job Description

• Partner with Operations, Product and Engineering teams to scale and improve Waymo’s fleet operations • Perform advanced analytics and modeling to increase availability of Waymo’s vehicles • Build and maintain state of the art reporting infrastructure to enable continuous decision making • Work closely with Engineering teams to define and build Data infrastructure for Fleet operations • Communicate and present on a regular basis to Waymo leadership

Qualifications

• Advanced analytics skills • Ability to structure and solve ambiguous problems • Data visualization • Coding skills (SQL and basic python) • Expertise and experience with experimentation • Experience with improving operations at scale • Great communication • At least 5 years of relevant experience • Expertise performing analytics with Fleet Operations, Fleet Maintenance, or Reverse Logistics at scale • Experience building Optimization models
