Sales Compensation Systems Analyst (Xactly)
Job Location: Bay Area, California
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 a year
Job Description
• Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the sales compensation system Xactly • Ensure accurate and efficient administration of sales compensation plans, calculations, and reporting • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather compensation plan requirements, ensure plan accuracy, and resolve discrepancies • Develop and generate accurate sales compensation reports, statements, and analytics • Validate and reconcile data within the sales compensation system • Perform regular audits of sales compensation data to identify and rectify errors • Assist in designing and implementing new sales compensation plans • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Sales Compensation team for technical matters • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices • Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot technical issues related to the sales compensation system • Assist with creating enablement material for training and educating sales representatives and managers • Participate in special projects related to sales compensation
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) • Proven experience as a Sales Compensation System Administrator or similar role, with expertise in managing sales compensation systems, preferably Xactly or a similar platform • Strong understanding of sales compensation principles, including plan structures, commission calculations, quotas, and payout schedules • Proficiency in configuring and maintaining sales compensation systems, including rule creation, formula setup, and data integration • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex compensation data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex compensation concepts to sales representatives and managers • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus • Relevant certifications in sales compensation administration or system administration are desirable
