Sourcing Manager

Job Description

• Develop commodity and category sourcing strategies • Maintain knowledge of technology and industry trends • Establish supplier selection process and drive final business awards • Provide technical and commercial expertise to improve TCO and quality • Negotiate with suppliers to establish best pricing, quality, delivery, and service terms • Build an end to end ODM strategy to support hardware scale • Establish strategic supplier and commercial relationships • Develop a supplier management framework including QBRs, scorecards, and supplier performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical or business discipline • 10+ years of supply chain experience in data center, cloud, compute, networking, and/or AI hardware • Direct experience managing OEMs, ODMs, and JDM suppliers and communicating with senior leadership • Understanding of the manufacturing process for compute, storage, network, and/or AI hardware • In-depth knowledge of commodity and ODM cost structures, modeling, and negotiation strategies • Experience in structuring, negotiating, and executing contracts (MSAs, MPAs, and SOWs) and complex agreements • Proficiency with ERP, MRP, PLM, and other common supply chain software • Sound interpersonal and communication skills, including presenting strategic decisions to the executive team
